Bald Eagle & Bobcat

Last week, I saw a Bald Eagle while driving into Hemet. It was sitting on a utility pole near the lake. Rarely, are these big birds seen here.

And over the weekend, I got to see my resident bobcat strolling out of the barn with a rabbit in its mouth. That's one less rodent to be a nuisance.

Hard to believe these photos are 14 years old; but the horse pictured, SSM Autumn Wind, is still with me and I know he is 14! These were from his weanling age, taken after a good rain. The arena has become a lake and he is having fun with it.
