Two rose bushes with pink roses.

My Velvet Rose, named because it looks like velvet.

Ember Serene

Photos taken 1992

Ember Serene was one of our first two Morgans. She was sired by Ember Medallion (Moro Hill Medallion x Caven-Glo Lisa, by Lippitt Moro Alert) and out of Rosemont Gay Bess (Moro Hill Gay Ethan x Kedron Betsy Ross, by McAllister).
Foaled in 1976, we got her in 1980 as an unhandled 4 yr old. She was a good riding horse who had three chosen speeds--fast, faster, and Go-Like-Hell. This suited my husband just fine.
She had three foals: 1983-SSM Dream Fire, by Ember Ethan Dandy; 1988-SSM Bull Jerome, by Moro Hill's Micah; 1990-SSM Zebulon Bullrush, by Clarion of Quietude. Jerome was sold but we kept the other two until their deaths.
She was a good horse & I miss her still.
